TJC, through the OMG, commenced its China initiative in 1994 and established manufacturing resources in China in 1995. We now own or have joint ventures in numerous manufacturing companies in China that produce such items as plastic injection molded products, aluminum die castings, electric motors and controls, and coal mining equipment among other products. TJC has established an operations office in Beijing and a Mergers and Acquisition office in Shanghai, each with a full executive staff. TJC is actively involved in sourcing acquisitions and startup ventures, including stand-alone equity investments in China.
