TAL International Group, Inc., a Portfolio Company of The Jordan Company, L.P., Completes Initial Public Offering

New York, NY: October 11, 2005 -The Jordan Company, L.P. announced today that its portfoliocompany, TAL International Group, Inc. (NYSE: TAL), priced its initial public offering of 11,500,000 shares of common stock at $18.00 per share before underwriting discounts and commissions. The underwriters have been granted an overallotment option to purchase up to 1,725,000 additional shares of common stock from certain selling shareholders, at the initial public offering price. TAL was purchased by investment funds managed by The Jordan Company, L.P. in November 2004 in partnership with its senior management.

The managing underwriters of the public offering are Credit Suisse First Boston LLC, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and Jefferies & Company, Inc. acting as joint bookrunning managers, UBS Securities LLC acting as lead manager, and Robert W. Baird & Co. Incorporated, Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc. and Fortis Securities LLC acting as co-managers.
