Advanced Materials and Services Group (“Advanced”) was formed by The Jordan Company, in partnership with industry executive, Dean M. Willard, in 2006 to build a premier supply chain management/information services and specialty non-metallic materials manufacturing business. The first acquisition in Advanced was made in August 2006 for ICMS Holdings, Inc. (d/b/a Avchem) which was founded in 2001. ICMS Holdings, Inc. is a leading provider of Chemical Management Services to the Aerospace Industry. In December 2006, Advanced purchased Reinhold Industries, Inc. ("Reinhold"), a manufacturer of advanced custom composite components and sheet molding compounds for a variety of applications in the United States and Europe. The company derives revenues from the defense, aerospace and other commercial industries serving as the preferred supplier of structural and ablative (heat-resistant) composites and assemblies.
